Scandic Kokstad - Bergen

The room was cozy, but breakfast dishes were often lukewarm.

Liked my stay and recommend this hotel. Stayed in functional standard room with queensize bed, a separate box, as example. It had particularly good location, very close to the Bergen airport, good public transport and the centre of Bergen on the tram.

A kid-friendly gem near the airport

The breakfast spread was really good, with plenty of choices to satisfy the whole family. Our kids loved the playroom with the zip line-a perfect way to burn off energy before our flight.

The family room felt a bit cramped for all of us, and noise from the ventilation system made sleeping a bit challenging at times.

The design of the entry lounge was a bit awkward and uninspired.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, food was good, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Shocking experience, really. No one cleaned my room except once during my 6-night stay, gross! Plus, breakfast was cold and very limited, not what i expected from a 'four-star' hotel. I almost thought of giving a good review, but where's my complimentary gesture? Disappointing doesn't even cover it. I can't recommend this place.

The breakfast is good, The transport by bus to the city was efficient. The staff were very helpful.

The tub was pretty slippery, an anti slip might have been better. Or a walk in shower would have been nice ( my son's room had one).The glass partition in the tub was too short so that water will fall onto the floor when taking a bath, Also, there was no lunch served in the hotel, lucky that the staff asked the chef to prepare some for us before we left.

Comfortable rooms, good location, friendly staff and good breakfast.

Great Breakfast and Relaxing Amenities

I enjoyed my stay, particularly the breakfast with a wide variety of quality options, made mornings good. The amenities like the gym and sauna were a welcome touch for unwinding after a long day. The housekeeping timing was a bit off-being woken up at 7:20 AM wasn't ideal.

The breakfast in the morning was really good, and they had a lot of options for people who eat gluten-free diets.

It was not worth the price.

The buffet breakfast had a great selection that kept our little ones happy. We enjoyed the fun playroom for kids. We also loved the spacious family room with ample space to relax after exploring nearby attractions like Fana Golf Club.

My kids wished for more play equipment outside.

the staff are excellent, the hotel is luxurious and with ideal location not far from the city centre, and bergen downtown.
